Dances of Universal
Peace and Sufi Ruhaniat International |
Sufi Order International | The International Sufi Movement |
|
A joyous expression of the Sufi message transmitted through Murshid Samuel L. Lewis. The spiritual successor of Murshid Samuel Lewis, Pir Moineddin Jablonski, guided the Ruhaniat from 1971 until his death in 2001 states : "Deepen your compassion. Love the wounded places in you that need healing. Open yourself to the grace of illumination. give freely of your joy. Share your neighbor's burden. Through all these avenues, discover your Soul." Currently led by Shabda Kahn. |
The Sufi Order International is an inheritor of a stream of “universal” Sufism which began in India over 700 years ago, affirming the common ideals of all religious faiths. It does not seek an acceptance of any specific religious or philosophical beliefs. Nor does it seek to convert anyone from one faith to another. Currently led by Pir Zia Inayat-Khan, grandson of Hazrat Inayat Khan. Here is an interview with Pir Zia about the meaning of Sufism. |
The Sufi Movement was founded by Hazrat Inayat Khan and the Headquarters Office is in Geneva, Switzerland. The five Activities of the Sufi Movement are: the Universal Worship Activity, the Brother- and Sisterhood Activity, the Healing Activity, the Symbology Activity and the Esoteric Activity. The International Sufi Movement is currently led by Pir-o-Murshid Hidayat Inayat-Khan, son of Hazrat Inayat Khan. |
